Packaging Design Checklist for Bangladeshi Brands

Check these points before you send artwork to the printer.

Start with the facts on the pack

Decide what must appear: brand name, product name, size or weight, ingredients or contents, usage, contact details and any required regulatory information for your product type. Confirm requirements with the relevant authority or your manufacturer.

Plan for Bangla, English and export

If you sell locally and abroad, decide early whether text will be Bangla, English, Arabic or a mix. Layout and font size change when you add languages.

Design on the printer’s dieline

Always design on the exact dieline or template from your printer or box maker. Keep text and logos inside the safe area and extend backgrounds into the bleed.

Prepare files correctly

Use CMYK colour, high-resolution images, outlined or embedded fonts, and keep barcodes and QR codes high-contrast. Ask for a printed proof or sample before the full run.

Test with a mockup

A mockup helps you judge hierarchy: can a customer read the product name from a short distance? Does the pack look good in a phone photo?

Quick checklist

  • Dieline from the printer
  • Bleed and safe margins
  • CMYK colours and sharp images
  • All required text checked
  • Printed proof approved
